Folks, we want to make sure you understand that this is NOT a GAMBLING WEBSITE!You can always play the free events with no concerns, however please refer to this series of letters between the USGA and myself back when I was considering the development of this concept. We encourage Junior Golf and the many USGA sponsered events they provide. The Big Blitz is designed for Adults (over the age of 18) at this time. That being said, the local Big Blitz events are under the control of the Local PGA Head Professional. The prize amounts in these events should be well under the threshold for losing Amatuer Status. Gift Certificates can be awarded to those Golfers under 18. The Inter Club events, which could number in the hundreds or even thousands of participating Golfers is a different matter. Though, even these events, depending on the winners per player ratio, could have maximum prizes of less than $600. Winner Take All prize amounts could be quite high, depending on the number of entrants. Please read these letters in sequence. I have the originals.
